Inquiry:  I received a ticket for speeding in a 60kl.zone.  I was at least 650 meters south of a 60kl.zone in a 70kl. zone.I have proof from the local roads dept of the location of where I was stopped and the location of the speed signs.the opp did not chase me he made a uturn, lights flashing and I pulled over immediately.any advice?

Response:  The location where you were stopped is not important to the speeding charge.  The location where the Officer measured your speed is.  If you would like to contest the charge, we can have that information released from the Prosecutor’s Office to see if there is a grounds to have the charge eliminated or at least reduced.  We offer a no-cost initial review of cases via our toll-free number 1-866-801-8299.
