Inquiry:  I recently was rear ended while picking my husband up somewhere, I was not at fault. It is his car and he has in insured. I was a little shaken and he gave his info at the scene. Insurance company called me and said that my license was expired and I had no idea…what now?? Am I going to be charged and what about the insurance claim? It was about $1000 worth of damage.

Response:  We can not advise you regarding the insurance claim.  It is possible that an Officer could charge you for driving without a valid licence; for now you will have to wait to see whether or not that occurs.  If you do get charged, we offer a no-cost initial review of cases via our toll-free number 1-866-801-8299 and would be happy to provide you some basic feedback.
