Inquiry: There was an intersection with one of those right turn lanes that form an island (the lane was inbetween the island and the sidewalk). It was red light on all sides, and there was the left turn green arrow on both my 9 oclock and 3 oclock lights. Seeing that, I knew I could turn safely with no cars coming, and I saw that there were no pedistrians crossing, so I turned without stopping. Then I got ticketed. Did I have to come to a complete stop? The officer said that he could have written me up for running a red light, but decided to put “Disobey traffic control device”.
Reponse: Unfortunately your ticket is outside of our area of service. You will need to contact a local legal service provider to get assistance with your matter.
Best wishes,
