Inquiry: My husband and I parked our car in what we thought was legal parking but I guess wasn’t. We parked our car at 6:00pm and when we returned to our car later that night we had a parking ticket for 115 dollars. However the officer wrote that the ticket was issued at 5:05pm which is impossible being that we didn’t park our car there till 6:00pm. Is there any way to fight such a ticket?

Response:  You certainly can contest the ticket and the instructions for doing so should be provided on the parking ticket itself.  Unfortunately, the cost of hiring a paralegal to fight the parking ticket on your behalf would be higher than the cost of the ticket itself.  If would like to have us represent you in the matter, you can reach our staff via our toll-free number 1-866-801-8299.
