Inquiry:  I was charged 3 times for driving while under suspension. I have waited out the mandatory suspension but my license is still suspended due to outstanding fines. I have paid down from approx $6000 down to now owing $1500. I am losing my ride to work and now require my license in order to keep my job. My question is, is there any way to settle on the remaining due? Perhaps appeal to the courts to grant me driving privileges?

Response:  At this point, applying to the Court for an extension of time to pay your remaining fines would be the route to go.  If the Court grants that application, assuming there are no other reasons for your licence to be suspended, you could then have your licence reinstated approximately one week later.  If you require our services, we offer a no-cost initial review of cases via our toll-free number 1-866-801-8299.
