Inquiry:  Pulled over for speeding on 13/07/2012. The RCMP Constable rote 13/06/2012 on the ticket. Should I dispute he ticket on the court date that if offered on my ticket. I can actually prove that I was in a location 180 km away from where the ticket was issued. Is the date alone reason enough to dispute the ticket?

Response:  The date may be a grounds to contest the charge, but would need to be handled carefully to avoid it being amended at court.  Without further information about your charge, it is difficult to give you much useful/accurate feedback.  If you would like to pursue contesting the charge, we offer a no-cost initial review of cases via our toll-free number 1-866-801-8299.
