Inquiry: I just received a ticket for talking on my cell phone. I literally just answered the phone and told the person i couldn’t talk that i would call them back. It was just a minute. Is there anyway of getting out of the ticket. I have a record of that call time and length.
Response: The length of the phone call is not a defence to the charge. In fact, merely holding the communication device without actually using it can be a grounds for this particular charge to be issued. However, you may have other grounds upon which to contest the charge. If you would like to contest the charge and penalties, we offer a no-cost initial review of cases via our toll-free number 1-866-801-8299.
