Inquiry: I have never been a licensed driver in Ontario let alone held a drivers license. However my “license” is suspended. I would imagine that I have an unpaid fine OR fines. How can I find out if I have any unpaid fines and would they accumulate interest on the owing amount?
Response: If you have unpaid fines, you will need to contact your local provincial offences court to speak with a court clerk. If you have unpaid fines owing to the court and are now considered ‘suspended’ for those unpaid fines, being stopped for driving while suspended can result in a fine of up to $6,250.00 and 6 months in jail.
