Inquiry:  I have been driving for 14 yrs and last night received my first ticket 115 in a 100. $52.50 and no points. Any chance a meeting with the prosecutor could result in this ticket being removed? Career goal is to become a police officer, I would hate to lose that opportunity over 1 ticket in 14yrs of driving. Any chance this would work with help from your company?

Response:  There is a possibility that any charge could be thrown out completely at Court.  Specifically in your case, we would need to wait until we have had a release of evidence in your case to know whether such a grounds exists for your charge.  Regarding the effects of driving offence convictions on becoming a Police Officer, you would need to contact a party such as the human resources department for the branch of law enforcement that you are interested in joining for specific information.  If you would like to contest your charge, we can be reached via our toll-free number 1-866-801-8299 to review your case in more detail.
