Question:   I got a ticket for failure to wear my seatbelt but I was wearing it when I got pulled over. I took it off when I was getting my ownership and insurance out of the glove box so when the cop came to my car I was not wearing one and he gave me a ticket. Is there any way to fight this?

Answer:  The way to contest the charge is to have it argued at trial.   By arguing the charge at trial, you will have the opportunity to contest the allegation that you were not wearing your seatbelt.   If you would like to discuss your case in more detail, I would recommend speaking with one of our staff for a no-cost consultation via our toll-free number 1-866-801-8299.
