Inquiry:  I had a collision with another car on Fairway Rd. I was leaving the mall and stopped at the cross-section with a stop sign. On my left, I saw a few cars on the right lane signalling to enter the mall. I checked the middle lane and I did not see any cars so I drove to the middle lane. When I was just in the middle lane, I car suddenly overtook me from my left and quickly cut in to my lane. It happened so fast and my left front bumper bar hit the rear right tire of that car. Was I totally responsible for this collision? Thanks.

Response:  Whether or not the charge will go to a conviction will depend largely on what the Prosecutor has to work with.  It is possible that the charge could be withdrawn to dismissed at Court.  If you would like to review your case in more detail, we offer a no-cost initial review of cases via our toll-free number 1-866-801-8299.
