Inquiry: I have a fine for 110. It was a POA. failing to turn right to avoid collision. It was due march 19th My son became ill and still is. ive missed work and i completely forgot. I tried to pay online however they do not accept visa/debit cards had no idea. I am waiting for my money to transfer to my credit card. Now i am paying today which will make it 3 days late. (past the due date) it says if its not paid within 15 days you may incur 20 admin fee is this for 15 days past the due date Or before the due date? the latter wouldnt make sense to me. My insurance called yesterday 2 days past due, and didnt leave a message. I find this a weird conisiedence. I havent received anything in the mail yet but it would be too soon to receieve a letter yet. Do i have some time still? OR will i be suspended already??
Response: On the ticket it will list 15 days with which to respond to the Court. Generally, it is not until day 45 that the matter would go to a conviction for having failed to respond. However, you may wish to review whether you wish to plead guilty to the charge or consider contesting the charge. We offer a no-cost initial review of cases via our toll-free number 1-866-801-8299.
