Inquiry:  I have recieved a ticket of 110$ for an expired sticker on my car. I knew it was expired but failed my emmisions and just do not have the money right now to fix it get another emissions test, pay for the sticker, and now pay for the fine. Thus, my question is what happens if i just pay the fine and continue to drive with the sticker invalid? what will happen if i get caught again?

Response:   If you continue to get charges for driving without proper validation, your driving history will continue to have convictions added to it.  Your driving history is used by your insurance company to determine your insurance rates.  Multiple minor offences can lead to your insurance policy being cancelled or no longer qualifying for standard insurance coverage.  You may end up paying much more in insurance costs than having simply addressed the immediate issue.
