Inquiry: I have an interview with the TTC but one of the requirements is that you have 2 or less offenses now I have 2 speeding tickets 1 that I forgot to pay off causing my license to get suspended. With that being said is that considered a third offense? Keep in mind I was not driving or got caught with a suspended license it was just because of unpaid fines.
Response: Unfortunately we can not advise you on TTC policy. It is generally a good idea to protect your driving record by contesting charges at the time they are issued. Once they have gone to a conviction, it is difficult to undo the damage they can cause to your driving history, insurance rates, and employability.
