Question: i got 2 tickets 12 days back. one regarding child not secured properly in car seat although he was securd but carseat not attached through seat belt and other regarding driving with expired license although i had temporary license on which expiry date was sept 3rd 2010 and in the website system it was sept 1st and i was driving on 2nd sept.
Answer: There may be a defense to the first charge, although we would need to confirm the section of the HTA you were charged under to review whether the circumstance meets the definitions of the charge. On the second charge, if your temporary licence does show that you were covered on the date of the offence, then the charge stands a good chance of being eliminated at Court.
