Inquiry: I received a Red Light Camera Ticket (because I own the vehicle) but was not driving the vehicle (I was at work). How can I defend myself against this? The fine is $325.00!
Respose: The Red Light camera tickets are issued to the owner of the vehicle, not to the driver. As such, they do not go against your driving record. You can however sometimes speak to a court clerk to have the fine lowered if you are unable to pay it. You may wish to speak to whoever was driving the vehicle to see it they will cover the expense of the fine.
