Inquiry: We got a parking ticket in Rehoboth, Delaware for $30.00. We did not pay it but a month later we got a letter demanding $110.00 and a second letter in October now for $150.00. They are threatening to have a collection agency come after us. The escalation in the fines seems arbitrary. We live in Toronto and we do not know when we will travel to Delaware again, Is what they are doing even legal? Other than paying what recourse do we have?
