Inquiry: I recieved a seatbelt ticket in April during a Seat Belt Blitz. However I noticed that the officer didn’t sign the ticket where he is supposed to. Is this a fatal error ??
Response: The Officer may have signed their copy of the ticket that was filed with the Court to certify service. The issue is one worth looking into, but would not necessarily be a guaranteed fatal error. There may also be other defenses to the charge that may be available.
