Inquiry:  I was pulled over for having one headlight out, and my license was not in my wallet as I had just come back from an overseas trip and didn’t want to take my wallet with me.

I was given a ticket for not having a license in my posession. When I asked the officer if I could present my license within 24 hours at the detatchment she said no, because my license was from Ontario and I am now in another province. I don’t understand, can I bring my license in to the detatchment and get rid of the ticket?

Response:  Unfortunately you are outside of our area of service and we are unable to assist you with your inquiry.  You will need to contact a local legal representative for a response.

Sincerely,
