Inquiry:  right, so on my way home from work tonight, i got a random stop, and when the cop asked for my licence, i told him i had forgetten it at home. he found no other reason to ticket me, besides for not giving my licence when he asked anything i can do about it?

Response:  The law requires a driver of a vehicle to surrender their licence to a Police Officer when requested to do so.  Depending on which charge you have been issued, it is possible that the offence could be lowered to a lesser offence.  In some cases we are able to argue to have the charge withdrawn completely.  If you would like to contest your charge at court, I would recommend speaking with one of our staff via our toll-free number 1-866-801-8299.
