Inquiry:  i was ticketed for failing to stop at a stop sign and forgot all about it. last night i was pulled over and informed my license was suspended the officer then gave me a notice of suspension and a ticket for driving while license suspended. can i fight this?

Response:  Yes.  Drive Under Suspension (HTA s.53) charges carry very heavy penalties including a total maximum fine of $6,250.00, a mandatory 6 month further suspension of licence, and possibel jail time.  I would recommend speaking with one of our staff for a no-cost review of your matter via our toll-free number 1-866-801-8299.
